A collaboration between Aston Martin and Zagato, the real monster will have a V12 6.0 developing 517 horsepower and 570 Nm of torque.

For now, the British manufacturer has not disclosed the price or the number of models produced, but it seems that we should pay around £ 330,000 (excluding taxes) to afford one of the 150 Aston Martin V12 Zagato available soon.

Classic Aston Martin DB5 Returns

Bond, James Bond, has driven a lot of different cars over the past 50 years, but none more iconic than the Aston Martin DB5 that first appeared in 1964’s Goldfinger. Over the years, the car has returned for cameo appearances in GoldenEye, Tomorrow Never Dies and the updated version of Casino Royale.

There’s a lot to like about the DB5, including the car’s timeless good looks and sheer elegance. If that’s not enough, its ejection seat, twin machine guns, armor plating, rocket launchers and oil slick generators certainly add to its charm. There may be faster cars on the road, but there aren’t many more difficult to overtake, which is one reason why the original movie car sold for $4.1 million in 2010.

The latest cars are to the same specification, featuring hand-finished (a 25-hour process of flatting and polishing) seven-layer paintwork complemented by 10-spoke, gloss black diamond-turned wheels. Reversed diamond-turning or full gloss black finishes on the wheels are options.

As far as the ‘Carbon’ bit is concerned, the superstrong, light and visually attractive material features large on this special edition. Side-mirror covers, rear lamp in-fills, a special fascia, the Touchtronic II gearshift paddle tips and even a special edition sill plaque (with laser-etched metal inlay): all are in carbonfibre.

Both the exterior and the interior design are very good. The interior will probably contain every single piece of luxury the passenger or driver would want. According to the Aston Martin CEO, the interior design will be minimalist, and every object will have a specific purpose.
